Led by Mr. Khoa Le, the team visited us as winners of the International Innovators Award Vietnam, an annual program organized by the SEPT Competence Center in collaboration with the City of Leipzig Office of Economic Development.
Over four inspiring days, the coaches of the start-up initiative SMILE worked closely with the team — using visualization and brainstorming techniques to refine their business model, exploring startup funding opportunities in Germany, and running deep-dive sessions to sharpen their value proposition and market entry. Expert coaching from Muhammed Alieu Barry added valuable clarity and direction.
The visit to the Process Living Lab gave the team important insights into process design, analysis, and optimization. There, they explored how digital tools can improve workflow analysis and design. In addition, they received expert coaching from Kevin Andres Garzon Lopez on developing the product development process using these digital tools. This guidance was essential for identifying critical stakeholders and anticipating potential bottlenecks with suppliers and manufacturing operations.
The WunderFab team brought two exciting ideas to Germany:
- WunderFab – An AI- and sensor-based platform that improves factory working conditions by monitoring ergonomics and environments in real time, helping SMEs boost worker health, safety, and productivity through a scalable pay-as-you-go model.
- Basket Tracker – An IoT-enabled solution to track and manage warehouse baskets, reducing losses and inefficiencies through real-time monitoring, with a sustainable business model combining hardware sales and cloud subscriptions.
